Le Salon is an informal collective of photographers, established in 2014 somewhere between Lausanne and Vevey. Embracing a protean structure, the collective’s mission is to curate diverse photographic exhibitions and events that unite authors from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. This includes not only its members but also guests and the varied nature of their work. While Le Salon’s identity is inherently polyphonic, it is driven by a collective force that transcends individual approaches.

At the heart of Le Salon’s ethos is a commitment to showcasing the diversity of the photographic medium. The collective creates an inviting atmosphere for its exhibitions, often featuring comfortable sofas, armchairs, and even meals. This approach fosters a relaxed environment and encourages engaging dialogues around their photographic displays. 2024 – Commonplaces
