Quiet neutrality
Anastasia Mityukova

The work of Anastasia Mityukova is aimed at questioning the visual and ideological narratives that shape our perception of the world, constituting our ideological landscape. Her work in progress, entitled Quiet neutrality, examines the little-noticed ties between Switzerland, Ukraine and Russia. The photographer brings us into the world of business by tracing the various structures operating within the closed world of banks, trusts, trading firms and consulting companies in Geneva, Zurich, Zug or Locarno. Her installation, made up of images, articles and documents relating to her research and encounters, questions what is made visible or remains in the shadows, and provokes reflection on the complexity of information and its different layers in politics, economics, media and history, where truth and manipulation coexist.
