Born in 1992, Julius Schien is a German photographer who lives and works in Hannover. He studied Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover and is a selected talent for the European photography platform FUTURES. His project Rechtes Land received an Honorable Mention from the TruePicture photojournalism grant in 2023 and was awarded the Best Portfolio Prize 2024 from >>FOLLOW UP/FUTURES Day in Hamburg.
Sébastien Reuzé, born in 1970, is a French artist who lives and works in Brussels. A graduate from the Ecole Nationale des Arts Visuels de La Cambre (Brussels), he is formally trained in drawing but chose photography as his main artistic medium. His work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions in Belgium and internationally. His project Live Mode was most recently exhibited in the Violet art space (Antwerp) in 2023, and his work MASCLETA in the Plus One Gallery (Antwerp) and at Contretype (Brussels) in 2024.

Anastasia Mityukova, born in 1992, is a Swiss photographer who lives and works in Geneva. A graduate from the Ecole d’art de Lausanne (ECAL), the Royal Academy of Art, the Hague (KABK), and the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Genève), she has been exhibited numerous times in Switzerland and internationally. Her work Project Iceworm was a part of the winning projects of Blurring the Lines in 2018. It was then exhibited in multiple institutions and events, most recently at the Biennale of Contemporary Art Beijing in 2022-2023. She is also the Director of Photobooks Switzerland and works as a picture editor for Le Temps.
Ahmed Khirelsid (b. 2001, Omdurman, Sudan) is a photographer and visual storyteller exploring personal and collective narratives in Sudan. His journey into photography began during the Sudanese Revolution, driven by the need to document the fast-moving events and changes around him. Ahmed’s work has been exhibited in Sudan, Germany, South Africa, and Ireland. He was recently awarded the Daniele Tamagni Foundation Grant to pursue photography studies in Johannesburg.
Born in 1977, Phil Penman is a British photographer who lives and works in New York. He graduated from the Berkshire College of Art before relocating to the USA, where he has made a career as a news and magazine photographer. Considered to be one of the most influential street photographers, he has been exhibited all throughout the US, as well as internationally. His work documenting the 9/11 attacks has notably been featured in numerous news sources and was included in the 9/11 Memorial and Museum’s permanent archives. Penman has been collaborating with Leica Camera for many years.
Aline d’Auria, born in 1982, is a Swiss artist and designer who lives in Chiasso. She earned photography degrees from the Ecole d’Arts Visuels de Vevey in 2003 and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2005. She received a degree as a Designer specialized in video from the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Genève) in 2006. She is the co-founder of the cultural association Grande Velocità and is a member of the near. association for contemporary photography. She has received several prizes for her work. Most recently, her music video “I leave” has won the Best Weird and Wonderful award 2021 (London International Web & Shorts Film Festival) and the Best Experimental Film award 2021 (Kiez Berlin Film Festival).
eden levi am (*1992) is an artist, photographer and queer activist based in Geneva. For several years, they have been developing a documentary approach with a focus on activism and intimacy. Using primarily film photography and video, and more recently performance, their artistic practice expresses a personal and affective view of the world, which ties with current social and political issues. From an intersectional feminist and decolonial perspective, their work addresses issues relating to the body, gender, identities and their representations.
Anne-Marie Filaire, born in 1961, is a French photographer and a professor at the Paris Institute of Political Studies. She has received the Best Photography Book Award 2017 (Festival international du livre d’art et du film) for her book Zone de sécurité temporaire (Textuel/Mucem, 2017). Her work has been exhibited numerous times in France and internationally. She recently presented her work Lever du Jour in the Musée Nicéphore Niépce (Chalon-sur-Saône) in 2022, and her project Terres troubles at the Centre regional de la photographie Hauts-de-France (CRP) in 2024.
Born in 1993, Léonie Rose Marion is a Swiss photographer who lives and works in Geneva. She graduated from the Ecole de photographie de Vevey in 2014, and obtained a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Genève) in 2021. Her work has been the subject of many exhibitions in Switzerland and internationally. Her project “Relever la nuit” (2022-2024) received the 2022 Documentary photography grant from the City of Geneva and was exhibited in the Centre de la photographie (Geneva) in 2024. She was recently selected by Pro Helvetia for their “Artist in Residency” program and has spent 3 months in Chile for a research project about our relationship with the starry sky.
Born in 1976, Marco Frauchiger is a Swiss photographer and artist based in Bern, where he has lived and worked for 20 years. Originally self-taught, he then proceeded to earn a Master of Arts in Contemporary Arts Practice from the Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB/BFH) in 2020. Since 2013, he has done multiple artistic projects to document the consequences of war in Laos. How to dismantle a bomb, his most recent work on the subject, has been exhibited in numerous institutions, including BelleVue Basel in 2023. He is the winner of the 2022 Prix Photoforum.
Tshepiso Moropa is a collage artist with a background in psychology, linguistics, and research. Her work bridges academic insight and artistic expression, exploring identity, heritage, and memory. Through her work, she strives to breathe new life into forgotten narratives and to create a visual symphony that resonates with the depths of human experience. Her collages have been widely recognised and published, contributing to contemporary African art while preserving and reinterpreting cultural narratives.
Born in 1971, Virginie Otth is a Swiss artist and photographer. She graduated from the Ecole de photographie de Vevey in 1994, and received a Master’s degree in Arts in Public Spheres + Sound from the Ecole de design et haute école d’art du Valais in 2014. She also attended a film-making class at the New York Film Academy in 1995. In 2005, she co-founded the association standard/deluxe, an exhibition space for contemporary images in Lausanne. She teaches at the Ecole de photographie de Vevey (CEPV) and the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design (HEAD-Genève). Her project Un lac dans l’oeil was exhibited in Photo Elysée (Lausanne) in 2023-2024.
Naara Bahler (*1989) was born and raised in Argentina to artisan parents—a Chilean mother and a Swiss father. From 2009 to 2011, she studied clinical laboratory technology and radiology at the National University of Córdoba. Her journey into photography began in 2013, driven by a fascination with the material aspects of the medium. Bahler focuses on analog photography and techniques like cyanotype, working with diverse materials such as fabrics and paper to create unique exhibition objects. Entirely self-taught, she has been continuously exploring and refining these experimental processes. Bahler currently lives and works between Brazil and Switzerland.
Born in 1978, Alexander Jaquemet is a Swiss artist living in Erlach. Working as a photographer since 1999, he obtained his degree in 2003. His projects have been exhibited all throughout Switzerland, such as Das Sichtbare und das Unsichtbare in the Villa Garbald (Castasegna) in 2022. He is the recipient of multiple awards and grants. He received the Biel/Bienne Anderfuhren Prize in 2017. His work is part of several private and public collections, including the collections of the Canton of Bern and the City of Biel/Bienne.
