Enquête photographique genevoise
Elisa Larvego
Winner of the first Geneva photographic survey in 2016, Elisa Larvego has created a photo reportage on the sports world in Geneva from a societal perspective. She spent six months in the city’s sports venues and clubs with the aim of capturing the ephemeral post-game moments among people in the 18-30 age group. Her authorial perspective on humanity presents about twenty kinds of sporting activites, putting them into dialogue with the environment in which they are done. The result is a mosaic of portraits of young athletes, confidently looking at the camera, an eloquent testimony to sports among the young people of today.
