SNSF Scientific Image Competition
In its attempts to document, describe and understand reality, science invents an innovative visual language that surprises with its variety and richness, ranging from abstract to figurative works, field reports to staged scenes, neutral documentation to personal narratives. For the past ten years, the SNSF Scientific Image Competition has been presenting this world, little known to the general public, through the eyes of the women and men who build it – scientists who discover hidden beauty, happy accidents or sincere testimonies of their daily lives in their work.
In collaboration with the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
