Lutherland
Jörg Gläscher

In 1517 Martin Luther shook the Catholic Church to its foundations with his 95 theses, triggering fundamental changes in the Christian faith. The Reformation involved not just the coexistence of different church communities but also has affected everyday life in many parts of Germany, Europe and the world. In his search for the effects of Protestantism Jörg Gläscher encountered people and landscapes in which the ideas of Luther are still alive. His photographic project invites us to reflect on the religious roots of the central values that are at the roots of our society.
