Copyride
Aline Zeltner
Copyride is a series comprising sixty images. With her playful use of a colour laser printer, Aline Zeltner deprives the machine of its real purpose (that is, to produce exact copies), and produces an original. In the short, unstable moment of printing (movement, displacement of the sheet) in which these originals are produced, the printer is diverted from its real purpose. Copyride exhibits a brightly coloured visual language and a sense of ease, but with a critical gaze and a questioning of the world.
