Meanwhile Magdalene
María Elínardóttir
I made this project after finding a suitcase lying on the street for five days. I began meticulously documenting each item individually and soon realized what it was I was looking at. They had these bags with them and they would climb into cars that passed by, leaving their bags hidden in bushes or under some branches. I gave her the name Magdalene and imagined what had happened to her, and soon I began somehow responding to her belongings with my own. (ME)
