SNSF Scientific Image Competition
Every day, scientists in Swiss laboratories produce thousands of images. Images from macroscopically small worlds, as results of experiments, that prove a thesis. But these pictures also show the beauty and the fascination of research.
For the second time, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) carried out the SNSF Scientific Image Competition 2018 and invited researchers from Swiss universities to submit the most exciting images of the past twelve months. Out of more than 350 pictures, an international jury has selected the best images. The award-winning images and videos will be presented at the Biel Festival of Photography.
