In the Woods

Camille Scherrer’s “In the Woods” is an interactive installation that leads us into an imaginary forest. When visitors cross a beam of light, their shadows get combined with silhouettes of animals and plants, in shapes inspired by cutouts from the Pays-d’Enhaut, Scherrer’s birthplace in the Vaudois Alps. This stroll through the forest, on which one can lose oneself within the confines of a gallery, is for city people who may be in need of nature and adventure.
