Grosse kleine Welt | Interférences et variations
Marie José Burki

“Grosse kleine Welt”, which takes its title from a novel by Robert Walser, turns its gaze on a region and a town that Walser often observed and contemplated. “Grosse kleine Welt” presents a portrait of the author through present-day walks among the images and landscapes found in this part of the world. The images from this journey are accompanied by two short texts by Walser, “Die Vaterstadt” and “Der Mond”.

“Interférences et variations” calls into question our ways of seeing and listening; the image and its transmission are examined in a dialogue that is sometimes absurd, sometimes melancholy, sometimes aggressive.

“Grosse kleine Welt”, French version: 12h I 14h I 16h – German version: 11h I 13h I 15h I 17h.
“Interférences et variations”, (French only) follows the projection „Grosse kleine Welt“.

Year of production: 2013 | 2011
