Notes sur H2

“Notes sur H2” takes place in a deserted and partially destroyed city (Hebron). The narrator goes in search of the last man inhabiting the city, alone and abandoned by everyone. The film establishes its own fiction of a post-apocalyptic tale, in order to refer to the entirely different genre of documentary reportage. Shot in the H2 militarized zone, the film aims at analyzing a single way of seeing according to its possibilities: on the one hand, domination, control, and appropriation; on the other, compassion, celebration, and respect.
